Stage management 101
Join us for an exciting Stage Management Class where you’ll learn essential skills to oversee productions seamlessly! This hands-on course covers everything from script analysis to coordinating rehearsals and managing cues. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to expand your skill set, this class is for you!
When/Where: It will be held on Saturday, June 21 from 10:30 - 3:30, with a lunch break from 12:30 -1:30. All attendees must bring paper and a pen for note taking.
Taught By: Linda Apperson
Linda Apperson is a Portland artist whose resume includes teaching experience at Stanford University, and guest appearances as local as Lewis and Clark College and as far flung as Beijing, China. Ms. Apperson has stage managed hundreds of productions of dramas, operas and musicals, including dance and music festivals in London, at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall and Kennedy Center.
