Students will learn the fundamentals of theatre and performance through the use of theatre games, exercises and scene work. Days are structured around games, instruction in acting, singing and dancing and rehearsing.
Each student will be given a t-shirt to be worn daily and during performances. Students will need to bring a lunch every day and a bottle of water. At the culmination of the program, there will be two performances: 6/27 @ 7:30pm & 6/28 @ 2:00pm.
When: 6/16/25 – 6/27/25 (additional day 6/28 for a performance) Monday -Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm
Cost: $125 per student (includes t-shirt) ** There will be five $50 scholarships available for qualifying students **

Cheryl is a retired educator who ran an after school musical theatre program at a local Middle School. She studied Musical Theatre at the University of Portland. Upon retirement, she joined SAT and for the last 13 years has been involved in acting, directing and costuming. She has participated in past summer theatre programs for the youth.
Joni Tabler has had experience directing and performing in community theatre plays for the last 50 years. She is a retired high school teacher and administrator, with a passion for acting.
